With California Music Industry Summit fast approaching on June 10-11, 2011 news of the event is spreading across the country. The Herald Online, a South Carolina newspaper, NBC12.com and other entertainment news sources are talking about the most anticipated conference of the year!
CMIS is set to be an informative, fun, and exciting experience for music lovers of all genres! Over the course of 2 nights, CMIS 2011 artists will perform throughout Oakland California at some of the hottest venues.
Independent artists will benefit from media exposure, networking with music executives, producers, music engineers and songwriters. This event is a must for the independent artist thirsty for leading entertainment industry knowledge.

- Phil Tan, three time Grammy Award Winning audio engineer
- LaToya London, “American Idol” Finalist and star of Oprah’s Winfrey’s Broadway production of “The Color Purple”
As a kick off to the summit TraMai Entertainment is also hosting a mixer on Thursday April 28th, 2011 from 5pm – 8 pm. It is both sponsored by and held at Cocina Poblana located at 499 Embarcadero West in Jack London Square, Oakland, CA, hosted by local radio personality Christie James of 98.1 KISS FM.
