Leslie Ann Jones is a recording & mixing engineer with a successful career that spans over 30 years. Starting her career at L.A.’s ABC Recording Studios in 1975, she moved to San Francisco in 1978 to accept a staff position at the legendary Automatt Recording Studios. From 1987 to 1997, she was a staff engineer at the historical Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood. In February of 1997, she became the Director of Music Recording and Scoring with Skywalker Sound a Lucasfilm company, where she continues engineering career mixing music for records, films, video games, and television.
In 2011, Leslie won a Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album (Classical) for Quincy Porter: Complete Viola Works by Eliesha Nelson & John McLaughlin Williams.
Currently, she serves on the Advisory Boards of Institute for Musical Arts, Music in Schools Today, and Ex’pression College for Digital Arts.
