Tramaí Entertainment is proud to announce the Keynote Speaker for the 2013 California Music Industry Summit is none other than Dr. George C. Fraser.
Dr. Fraser is Chairman and CEO of FraserNet, Inc., a company founded over 25 years ago with the vision of leading a global networking movement that brings together diverse human resources to increase opportunities for people of African descent. Considered by many to be a foremost authority in economic development, networking and building effective relationships, Fraser is also the author of several critically acclaimed, best-selling books, including Success Runs In Our Race: Complete Guide to Effective Networking in the African American Community and Race For Success and Click: Ten Truths for Building Extraordinary Relationships.
Additionally, Fraser is the publisher of the award-winning SuccessGuide Worldwide: The Networking Guide to Black Resources; founder of the national annual PowerNetworking Conference, a gathering of thousands of black professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders come together to network and discuss wealth creation; and chairman of the Phoenix Village Academy, a group of three Afro-centric charter schools serving the city of Cleveland.
After graduating from the Dartmouth College Minority Business Executive Program and being awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters from Jarvis Christian College, Fraser rose to leadership positions with Procter & Gamble, the United Way, and Ford Motor Company before moving on to found FraserNet. CNN, The Wall Street Journal and Black Enterprise have even solicited his views on business and networking.
The art of networking and building relationships in the music industry has become more important than ever as the industry itself becomes smaller and more interconnected. Fortunately, Dr. Fraser will bring a fresh perspective and give priceless information to CMIS attendees on how artists, musicians, music professionals, entrepreneurs and others can make the best out of creating and maintaining those relationships for success in the world of music.
